PTE阅读与雅思是有根本性不同的，无论是在考试时长和题型种类上，PTE相比起雅思更为注重Quick Response而非雅思容易上手的模版型套路去寻找答案。

因果关系：标志词汇有for, because, since, therefore等;
转折关系：标志词汇有but, yet, although, however, on the contrary, on the other hand, instead等;
并列递进关系：标志词汇有and, indeed, also, besides, similarly, like, accordingly, in the same way, meanwhile, furthermore, moreover等;
解释关系：标志词汇有that is, that is to say, for example, such as, namely, in other words等;
除了掌握上述这些逻辑连接词，文章大意以及上下文语意关联也是我们需要非常重视的。拿Fill in the blanks一道题目举例来说：

1. 通过前文的alive and well看出这里表达了积极的信息，然而seems to be又传达出一种潜在的转折概念，因此在看到despite之后要果断选择与前文相反的意思，这里通过语法分析要填形容词，因此选hard
2. 同样，while表达了该句话前后存在转折的关系，事实上families may not have as much to spend，转折就是他们无法更慷慨大方而是转而be more creative，因此选creative
3. Lump sum为固定搭配，意思是一大笔数额
