在备考PTE考试中，对于PTE写作，语法都是大过于内容的。那写作中哪些错误是同学们容易迷糊的呢？
错误一
一个句子，多个动词
错例：Students receive job training can become competitive in the labour market.
这个句子中出现了两个动词，receive和can become。注意一个句子中应该有且只有一个谓语动词。
改正：应该添加一个从句结构。
Students who receive job training can become competitive in the labour market;
Students can become competitive in the labour market if they receive skills training.
错误二
介词使用不当
在一个词组中，具体应该使用什么介词，取决于这个词组的固定搭配，而不是随意而为之。
错例：I am writing this letter to express my suggestions about how to improve students' physical condition.
"对…提出建议"应该是give suggestions on…, 原文中使用介词about并不恰当，不符合常用表达。
改正：I am writing this letter to express my suggestions on how to improve students' physical condition.
错误三
There be句型中谓语没有随其后名词改变
错例：There is a number of countries which know that they will soon be underwater if global warming is permitted to continue.
这里There be结构中的主语是countries，所以谓语动词要用are。
改正：There are a number of countries which know that they will soon be underwater if global warming is permitted to continue.
错误四
主谓不一致
有时在SWT中大家要会写一些比较复杂的句式，例如插入成分或同谓语成分。在写作的过程当中，每每遇到以上几种情况的时候，回眸重新找到句子的主语是最重要的。
例如：Thomas Edison, one of the most distinguished scientists, is a brilliant inventor.
这里在写完第二个逗号的时候，就应该回过头来看看主语Thomas Edison是单数的第三人称，而不能被插入成分中的scientists所蒙蔽。所以这里的谓语要用is而不是are。
错例：Cardiopathy, coupled with poor diet, lead to severe diabetes.
这就话中主语为cardiopathy,谓语应该为单三形式。
改正：Cardiopathy, coupled with poor diet, leads to severe diabetes.
错误五
缺少谓语动词
错例：The students in good health.
我们都知道，"主+谓+宾"是一个句子最基本的结构，缺一不可。如果谓语动词是系动词，那这个句子就是典型的"主+系+表"的结构了。上面的这个句子有主语the students,有介词短语in good health,但是很明显缺少系动词。
改正：The students are in good health.
